31/01/2022- PRESENTATION

Parts 1) Which activities we have done today. To learn, reflect about what? Name, conditions to do it, which objectives, it is for children or adults or both, any other version (Can you imagine or do you know any other activity to do with same or similar purpose?

This was the presentation of the subject we'll be doing for the next couple of months. We started doing two lines and we started massaging each other for like five minutes; then we turned and gave it to the person who was doing it to us before. I suppose that we did it with the purpose to create a comfortable feeling between everybody in the class and a climate of relaxation.

After it, some of us presented ourselves in front of everybody while we all were in a circle position and had to do some movement for everyone to copy it.

Then we had a conversation with a peer of us and we explained to each other what kind of relationship we have had in our lives with movement and in general the activity of our bodies. It was a cool experience because I never thought of having this kind of conversation and I thought I knew a lot about the person I did this exercise with until we started talking about this! Everybody has a different relationship with it and links the body movement with different kinds of feelings (positive ones in general).

Then we split into the floor different kinds of blankets and cushions and we had to move all around the class while we were listening to music; when the music stopped you had to interpret an action with one of these objects. I didn't get the purpose of the activity despite I had a good time doing it.

To close the session we write on the blackboard some words related to what body expression was and the teacher took a photo so we all can compare it at the end of the course and see all we have acquired and what we'll know by then.

I think all the activities we did can be done with children if they have the appropriate age or if they have achieved enough amount of autonomy so they can feel comfortable in this type of activity.

2) How have you felt doing them? (About emotions, and do you know or imagine why?) You can express it by drawing, painting, with a link, writing…

I noticed recently that I like to draw and I can relax with it. So I will usually try to capture in a drawing how I felt during the session and some words that define the illustration.

I also tend to link emotions to colours, so each post, after the drawing and the words, will specify the colour that made me feel.

And last but not least, I also tend to link feelings with music, so I'll put a link to a song that reminds me of every lesson.

I painted this first one because the expectations and objectives of the subject are very varied, and because it is not entirely conventional, I have a mixture of feelings inside because of the interest but also the uncertainty that causes me.

WORDS: Uncertainty, emotion, hope

COLOUR: Rainbow

3) Connections with the concepts of the subject, articles, readings, videos, your own experience or learnings from other subjects, degrees…

The activity of massages reminded me of when I was 14/15 years old my science and math teacher knew that before taking an exam we got very nervous so he left us 5 minutes before each exam to get massages with our partners and take a deep breath, with the only exception that we couldn't talk. It was fun because I had not found myself in such a situation like this again.
